Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands are situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic Ocean.
They are located to the Northwest of Scotland and about halfway between Iceland and Norway. It is an archipelago of about 18 islands that cover about five hundred square miles.
Its highest mountain is only 2883 feet and the average height above sea level is 982 feet.
